Just finished punching this adaptation of one of the patterns I carry by A Piece of Work – available in punch needle and rughooking. I soooo enjoyed working on this piece – now to hook it! I need a new fall rug – of course it won’t be done till Christmas 🙂 so may only be for next fall. The finished punch needle piece I will attach to a wonderful box with a sliding lid – once I have painted and distressed it – the box that is. Although I could distress the punched piece – it is a tad darker in real life than in the photo but maybe it needs dirtying up a bit!…

I would love to try the punch needle project. Could I have one sent and could I figure it out without instruction. I have been hooking for many years. I am also teaching great granddaughters and wonder if it would be easier for them. 8 and 10.
