HOOKER’S WEEKEND..

Well, another wonderful retreat weekend has come and gone.

Some pictures of the throw down…

NEW ITEM FOR SALE…

I mounted my Snowman – hooked with my hand dyed wool and holding a small wool feather tree – on a hand made wooden stocking, painted and antiqued by me, measuring 16 long, 3/4 thick, 5 across stocking and 8 across toe to heel inches – asking 75.00 Cdn (about 56.00 U.S.) plus any applicable tax and shipping. Email me if you are interested at hookedonthelake@kingston.net – if you provide me with your address I can let you know the total with shipping. I ship from Ontario Canada and can do PayPal, e transfer or cheque…

SNOW DAY…

Yeahhhhh! I love the first snow, although, this one is a bit thin on the ground and messy looking. But it means no more pretending I am a lumber jack – well, that and the swollen ankle which came about when I whacked it on a tree branch that I thought was loose but was still attached to the tree 🙂 . Anyway, our road now looks like a super highway through the woods – in some spots 4 feet wider. Not as pretty as it was when it was a lovely meandering narrow road through the woods but practicality took priority – when it is icy this winter I won’t be closing my eyes and praying as we drive out. And, with time, it will start to look more filled in again around the edges.

Some lovely rugs to share with you today – then off to finish packing for our hooking retreat this weekend. Sooooooo excited – I have 3 different projects packed so that I don’t run out or get bored. So next week I should have a lot of fun pix of everyones projects to share with you but for now…
