Jill sent me pictures of her  recently completed miniature punch needle 2 Sailboats and her hooked Sunflowers pillow:

and Sheila sent me a picture of her fabulous Morning Wave…

And what have I been doing – well unfortunately, nothing tooooo creative! We decided the house was looking a tad tired after 12 years so have been cleaning, decluttering, painting and redecorating a few rooms. Just finished our bedroom which is a good thing as hmmmmm most of my furniture was in my living room – which is NOT A GOOD THING 🙂 .  Can I say I LOVE MY BEDROOM NOW!… Yesssssss… My side of the bed is now in a direct line to the bathroom 🙂 – and that is a good thing.

GOOSE IN THE GRASS…

A couple of months ago my good friend Bonnie gave me the most magnificent carved primitive Canada goose. It is huge – I do have another flying goose by an amazing Quebec carver and this made a wonderful addition to the flock! I decided to house her (yes it is a she) in my newly painted bathroom however she looked a little forlorn. She is peaking over her back at hmmmm something resting in the grass – but there was no grass. So I decided to take a cue from friend Wendy and prod her a wonderful grassy mound. Took a couple of days and a lot of wool but she is now happily grounded in a lovely, thick, grassy matt. Hmmm, I do have some faux eggs – wonder if that might be what she is looking for – may have to give her one or two to make her happy…

Beth sent me a picture of her finished Cardinal mat…

For those of you who join us at Stitch by Stitch please note that because I will be teaching a punch needle class at the store on March 22 I won’t be back for my usual monthly morning until April 10.

WE ARE FULL…

I am always amazed at the overwhelming response to our hookin announcement. Yup we are full – however, we know there will be some who, in the end, cannot make it plus we have a wonderful space outdoors that is lovely if the weather cooperates. So we will be taking names for the waiting list so please if you have not already contacted Carol do so… And thank you to everyone who has registered – your presence and enthusiasm always make this a fun day for all.

And now a few rugs to share…

Heather sent me a picture of her lovely completed Karla Gerard 3 Blooming Birches (and yes, I do have this pattern in stock 🙂 )…

Karen sent me a picture of a wonderful rug she finished for her granddaughter…

and Nancy sent me this lovely funky rug (design by Michael Vistia)…

and Francine finished off a small rug inside an great frame…
