  11. I enjoy following your adventures. Greetings from the Heritage Rug Hookers of Saskatoon (SK). Could you please tell us about making quillie trees? I have seen photos but need some additional info before I can make one. What are the quillies attached to?
What is in the blank spaces between the quillies?

    • I have styrofoam tall cones from Michaels for mine. Also some empty yarn cones to make up too! I have just decided to cut up lots of greens in a “8 for my app. 10 ” tall styrofoam cone. I don’t have instructions so am just winging it! I will glue on my quillies with a hot glue gun with help from straight pins and have red berries to put in between some of the quillies. I’m thinking of a needle felted star in gold to top it off. Wish me luck! Lol
