UNTANGLING COLOUR CLASS IN NOVA SCOTIA…

My friend, Carol Shewan, will be teaching this wonderful class and I thought I might post the information so that those of you who are not familiar with the Rughooking Guild of Nova Scotia can check out her in person class…

The Nova Scotia Guild school May 7th -12th is hosting the Untangling Colour workshop with Carol Shewan. This is a 5 day intensive colour course where you will take your colour confidence to the next level. The class covers how to use the colour wheel for rug hooking, value, contrast, chroma, balance, a different harmony every day, how to choose the right background and on the last day you will design and plan an original pattern. There is so much content in this class that you will be learning something new every day.

Registration deadline is coming up quickly, email Carol (cshewan@kingston.net) for more info or check out the RHGNS website.

This is a great opportunity to spend quality time with people who have the same love of rug hooking and have 5 days of fun playing with colour. The 5 x5 patterns are great to test out a potential colour plan or try something outside your comfort zone.

A great class for the new hooker or any one who has wished they were more confident when choosing colours. The picture is one of the samples used in the class…

  1. I have bags of pretty punch premium blend for punch embroidery acrylic yarn. I would like to sell it all as I have carpal tunnel and my hands hurt too much to do the craft. How much would you ask for it? I have multiple colors, 45 spools and 1 large brown spool to be exact.
Are you having your sale and hook in this spring? I’ve missed coming. Hope all is well with you and your family.
