HAPPY HOLIDAYS…

I cannot believe Christmas is 2 days away.  We want to take this opportunity to wish everyone Happy Holidays – may your day be full of warmth, cheer and family and friends (including the furry ones)…

The minute the red bucket appears the deer come a’runnin’…  Not only are they getting MNR approved healthy grain and corn (with a bit of molasses thrown in for yummy flavour) but also oranges and apples and carrots – hmmmm I may join them for a meal! Any left overs are quickly scooped up by the jays and squirrels!… No waste at our place!…

Years ago my friend Donna designed this pattern and we both hooked it.  I still love how this piece turned out – primitive, wide cut and dirty looking – just my style 🙂 .

  4. All the best to you, Gord and your family, Loretta. I’m almost finished punch needling Crescent Moon, my learner piece. Now i have to finish it. Another mystery to be solved.

Our wild turkeys and deer are enjoying their happy place, our backyard. Take care and see you soon Nancy S

  5. I’m sure you’ve seen this….. Gord and the lovely deer. I love their big brown eyes and shy gentle ways. Looks like Loretta and Gord are keeping them happy and fat.

That’s obviously a Santa AFTER coming down the chimney – definitely Loretta style.

This cold is miserable….facing a day of baking. Sigh.

How did the solstice celebrations go. Lots of nog?

    Sending hugs from the west.

  6. Ooops…..I just sent a strange message to you. Sorry – it was meant to be a forward to Lin. I do hope it doesn’t appear in the comments section where it will sound really strange. I apologize for the confusion…..I think I am ailing more with this cold than I realize.

  7. I also love deer but they’ve never come that close to me. Yet they do come in my yard often. How big is that Santa pattern and does Donna sell the pattern?
