HAPPY EASTER TO ALL…

or is that HOPPY Easter. Easter bunnies will be out in full force with this amazing weather.

This week we had friends come to visit and decided to take a trip to Vermont. Welllllllll, the weather man was WRONG, wrong, wrong – he did not tell me that it would be 28 degrees (84! Fahrenheit) on Tuesday – the day we decided to drive down highway 100, stop at all the waterfalls and rushing brooks and schlep through the melting snow and muck. Well, thinking it was going to be much coooooler, I wore my leather, fur-lined shoes! which promptly got wet and hot – very hot! Every time we would get back into the car off would come the soggy footwear, but of course by the middle of the day my feet were steamy and covered with bits of fur and hmmm probably pretty smelly! But despite soggy, fur covered feet and much too warm clothing we had a lovely drive. The scenery was beautiful!…

and now some pix of rugs from others…

Nancy did a wonderful job on her Carol Feeny pattern…

and Sherri sent me a picture of her Karla Gerard 3 Blooms in progress – Sherri is a new hooker and I think this is turning out beautifully – today I am playing in the pots and pans to dye up the wool for the rest of the flowers…

and some pix of our furry friends (not my toes) who may drop by this weekend…

and just a reminder that our guild auction is this coming Thursday – hope to see some of you there!

  2. Hoppy Easter to you as well. I love your sense of humour! I am humbled that you would include a picture of my 3 blooms with the other lovely pieces. I am having so much fun doing it. Your colour planning and dying of wool makes it so much easier. Thank you.

  6. Hi Loretta,
Beautiful pictures, sorry about your shoes! We are summering in VT this summer! We have rented an apartment in st. johnsbury. How far are you from VT? Maybe we can take a ride up. The town we will be in is directly east of Burlington, on the NH border. I know we aren’t far from Quebec.

    Happy aeaster to you both.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Toni

  9. Hi Loretta,  hope you received my previous email regarding prices for patterns to be made into kits, if not please let me know.  Can you let me know if the owl kit is still available for 10 percent off and the price for a average priced hook.  Also l cannot remember if you take cheques l know you take credit cards.  Also l am interested in the night time house kit 16 x 11.   l would need it to be mailed to Markham so the additional fee would also need to be added in. Thank you again if you let me know this information can send the amount to you. Thanks  elensilver@rogers.com Elen Silver
