SPEEEEEDY HOOKER…

Alana of the speedy hook!!! sent me a picture of her most recent rug. Alana is one of the fastest hookers I know – she uses primarily recycled wool and other fibres, hooks like there is a fire underneath her and does amazing rugs (and other art). I am lucky enough to carry some of her wonderful patterns (check my online store under Alana Kapell) and even have one of her hooked pieces. Alana was one of the first people I know who combined a number of art mediums into one piece – hooking, painting and mosaics – forming an amazing triptych. This is her most recent rug…
