Well the house is marginally warmer than it was yesterday morning. Things are working – maybe  not the way they should – but better than they were!  Well, maybe not the tooth! 🙂

A few dates to mark on your calendar – our Rideau Valley Boots and Baskets auction will take place on April 16 at the community hall in Burritts Rapids from 11 – bring your lunch, mug and of course cheques and cash as we have a wonderful stash of rughooking goodies for sale.  Also our second annual Westport Hookin hosted by myself and Carol Shewan will take place as shown below – register soon as we are already up to 20+ attendees.

  2. Good morning Loretta,

Another brisk morning but sunny nevertheless … what better reason to play with wool!!!!

Can you give me more details concerning April 16? ie is this an auction only day starting at 11am or will there be vendors as well. I have a brand new roll of strip grippers, could I bring them along for the auction? Our little group just want to know what to expect … so we can come prepared $$$$ ha ha ha

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves last Fall and now Susan is planning on taking the day off to join us.

As for the the lady who was looking for a home for her Mom’s rug hooking paraphernalia … I sent her a follow up email last Wednesday evening and she hasn’t responded … it must be difficult to part with such a treasure …

Take care, my friend and see you on the 16th of April
