GREAT. We had 11 vendors! Holy cow – everything from rug hooking supplies to yarns to jewellery, slippers and even some finished rugs. Everyone had a great time and found something to buy (even me!!!). It was wonderful to see we attracted people from far and wide – some folks drove 2 hours to come to our sale! So just a little tip – third Thursday in April is our guild auction open to the public. This is a fun day of bidding and outbidding folks for wonderful hooking supplies! Here are some pix of our vendors (well some of our vendors!!!) and some of our guild members hard at work – hooking or buying!…
A few weeks ago we had a workshop taught by Karen Kaiser on ultra wide cut! These pieces were to be done in half inch wide hand torn strips and here is a picture of one being done by Pauline. Don’t you love the look of those wide strips! I hope to get pix of some of the other pieces at our next guild meeting…
Wish I could have gone, glad it was such a success and btw I have my carving..I love it. Prescott girls are loving their trees etc.
Great to see that hooking is alive and well in Burritt’s Rapids….
Outstanding!
Thanks to all our organizers, vendors and buyers……………………….
