Not to be confused with the ladies who recently celebrated a great victory in their battle with sex workers legislation!!!!
Had a fun hookin on Saturday attended by hmmmm not sure how many creative ladies and thought I would share with you pictures of some of the rugs. Some I did not take as the creators preferred to wait until their projects were closer to completion but all the work was fun and exciting:
Andrea with her Bev Conway Rufus (or Rupert?) which is looking wonderful. Hmmm, I have this pattern in stock – interested???
Elizabeth’s whimsical baby quilt
Elizabeth’s Fraktur Challenge – painted version
Elizabeth’s Karla Gerard (have this pattern in stock as well!!!)
Linda’s geometric – almost done (how many times has it been rehooked Linda?) all done in as is and many recycled wools
The other Elizabeth with her beautiful Karen Kaiser pattern
Hmmm the other Linda with her 9 FOOT LONG runner (her own design) of whimsical “chimera”? creatures
Peri’s turtle rug – this is a long piece with wonderful baby turtles swimming to the surface of the pond
Peri’s “moonscape” all done in yarns I believe all dyed by Fleece Artist
Suzanne’s lake rug done all in yarns
Suzanne’s Tigger also all done mostly in yarns with some wool strips (I think Tigger himself or herself was strips)
Louise’s Maud Lewis (I LOVE that horse)
Karen’s Pineapple Welcome from the Jule Marie workshop
Heather’s finished sky in her Deanne Fitzpatrick rug
Diane’s Fraktur challenge – a punch needle version
Alana’s mad dogs (oh not sure of the title) drawn out with her non dominant hand and all hooked in recycled wools
Diane’s Jule Marie workshop finished rug – I call it Two Fat Birds on a Branch – but I think she did not like my title!!!!
(I will be offering this as a pattern and as a complete kit)

Needle Artists, Brush Babes, and Hookers all communicating in like values and hues…bouncing insprations from each other. Congratulations to all of you! You’re a veritable feast! Pat
